Wheat is the main ingredient of bread and this is hard to digest. It can leave you feeling uncomfortable, weak and tired even though you're on diet.

Many people who had problems with digestion have been eating a gluten-free meal and bread is not present on it. Wheat is extremely difficult to digest.
4. Controlled Apetite
Refined carbohydrates present in bread are immediately converted into glucose which raises your blood sugar. The spike in your sugar will increase the chance of hunger and cravings.
All in all, it’s easy to see why bread has become the food villain for health campaigners in recent times. The idea of breaking Paleo for a slice of mucus producing, anti-digesting, nutrient deficient slice of bread just doesn’t seem all that tempting anymore.
